The Heritage Lamp from Standard Chair of Gardner makes an elegant addition to any office or home. This lamp is crafted in the Northeast from solid maple hardwood and features a black parchment shade with gold trim, beautiful lacquer finish with handpainted gold beading and a generous 8 foot cord. The Williams College seal is beautifully laser engraved in the lamp base and cannot be worn off. This lamp has a unique two-way switch that allows you to set it at either regular light for reading, office work, etc. or at an economy setting for a dimmer light that uses less electricity. Please note: this lamp does not take 3-way bulbs; it's designed for use with standard 1-way light bulbs only.
These lamps are manufactured to order and are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer. Typical delivery time is 4-6 weeks. A production rush is available, but rush shipping is not, due to the size of the packaging. The Heritage Lamp requires only simple assembly of the parchment shade and finial. There is a flat shipping charge of $40 to anywhere in the continental United States. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is not available. If the Heritage Lamp is shipped to Massachusetts, 6.25% sales tax will be added.
Up to 3 lines (30 characters each) of personalization is available. The most popular personalization layout includes the recipient's name and class year ("Kathleen M. Williams '06") on the first line and "Williams College" on the second line. The second most popular personalization layout includes the recipient's name on the first line, "Class of 2006" on the second line and "Williams College" on the third line. We do recommend including "Williams College" in the personalization because the English translation of the latin in the Williams College seal reads, "Out of the generosity of E. Williams, armsbearer (soldier)." Nowhere in the seal does it read "Williams College".
